LOLA | Love Our Lake Access Park ProjectLOLA | Love Our Lake Access Park Project

Who
The Madison Park Community Council (MPCC) proposes to develop a park on a public parcel beyond the 43rd Avenue termination of Madison Street in Madison Park.  Working specifically on this project is the LOLA Project Committee, a group appointed by the MPCC.

Where
The proposed park space is located in Madison Park on property owned in part by Seattle Parks and Recreation and in part by the Department of Natural Resources.  The area is bounded by 43rd Avenue East on the west, private property to the north, Lake Washington to the east, and Madison Park Beach/Park to the south.   The parcel is approximately 21,500 square feet.

What
The goal is to restore this public property to public use as a park.  The development process includes community input to the design, which will be envisioned and rendered by the professional design team of Murase Associates of Seattle and Portland.
