Calender / News - There's rarely a time when the neighborhood isn't preparing for or participating in one of the many events on the community calendar. On July 12th-14th 2007 local merchants will sponsor Madison Park Days with a three-day sidewalk sale, a parade for children, and a family picnic. At Halloween, local students decorate stores with pumpkins and then little ghosts and goblins flood the streets for trick-or-treats and to have photos taken outside of Bing's restaurant. During the holidays the merchants, in conjunction with the community council, sponsor the Christmas Ship Beach Party by lighting a large bonfire on the beach, listening to the Salvation Army Band, and enjoying hot chocolate, cider and cookies. The annual street lighting keeps the neighborhood aglow with holiday cheer, transforming the neighborhood into a festival of lights.

Madison Park Days & Sidewalk Sale - Will be on July 12th - 14th 2007 . The childrens picnic & parade will start at 12:00 noon on the 14th in front of Wells Fargo Bank. The picnic will begin after the parade. There are no forms required to participate in the childrens parade.
See you there!
